Taiwan Mobile’s consolidated revenue rose 8% YoY in August, with the growth rate accelerating for the fifth consecutive month. Our three-tier growth flywheel maintained strong momentum, with telecom operating income increasing 19% YoY, resulting in double-digit YoY growth in consolidated operating income and net income. In our core “Telco” segment, mobile service revenue grew steadily by 3% YoY, while robust iPhone sales boosted device revenue by 29% YoY. The “Telco+” enterprise segment benefited from solid demand for AI and cybersecurity solutions alongside AIDC customer's ramp-up of next-phase capacity. As for the “Telco+Tech” segment, momo's revenue rose by 8% YoY in August, accelerating to its fastest growth rate YTD. E-commerce services for brands continued to drive growth, while our newly represented brand 3COINS debuted its first physical store in September, with further expansions set to fuel future momentum. Content revenue also rose, driven by the release of Sunshine Women’s Choir on MyVideo and other streaming platforms. With the benefits of AI-enabled initiatives further expanding, consolidated operating income increased 17% YoY, more than twice the pace of revenue growth. Net income grew 10% YoY, with EPS reaching NT$0.46.

Taiwan Mobile announced August 2026 unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$16.78bn; operating income of NT$2.02bn; net income of NT$1.39bn; and EPS of NT$0.46. For the first eight months of 2026, TWM reported unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$132.16bn; operating income of NT$16.02bn, a 16% YoY growth; net income of NT$11.48bn; and EPS of NT$3.78, a 22% YoY growth.

George Chang, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson, commented that the Company initiated a tender offer for Systex via its wholly owned subsidiary, Taiwan Cellular Co., Ltd., starting August 18. Under the terms, each Systex share tendered will receive NT$92.5 in cash and 0.84 Taiwan Mobile common shares. The offer aims to acquire a minimum 39% and a maximum 58% stake in Systex. Together with the Company's existing 11.86% stake, total ownership will exceed 50% upon successful completion of the offer. Systex’s Board of Directors has endorsed the Review Committee’s assessment that the terms of the tender offer are fair and reasonable. The transaction has therefore received support from the Review Committee, the Board of Directors, and Systex’s major shareholders. Based on Taiwan Mobile’s closing share price of NT$119.5 on September 9, the implied offer value is approximately NT$192.9 per Systex share. Compared with Systex’s closing price of NT$142.5 prior to the tender offer announcement on August 12, the premium is NT$50.4, or 35%. Since the Company’s initial investment in Systex in 2024, the strategic alliance between the two companies has delivered tangible results. Upon the completion of the tender offer, we expect to accelerate three key synergies — cross-selling, AI and regionalization — driving further growth in our overall enterprise services revenue.
