In accordance with the AA1000 principles and internal assessments, TWM has identified eight stakeholder groups and established dedicated communication channels, including a designated Stakeholder Section on TWM’s official website to ensure timely receipt and response to stakeholder concerns.
Regarding the scope of TWM’s Stakeholder Communication Guidelines, they apply to the Company and its subsidiaries, any foundation to which the Company's direct or indirect contribution of funds exceeds 50 percent of the total funds received, and other institutions or juridical persons which are substantially controlled by the Company. The Guidelines also apply to all local operations and supply chain partners, and encourage them to advance sustainability initiatives.
At the end of the year, TWM held an in-person stakeholder meeting, engaging face-to-face with 23 stakeholder representatives to directly address their expectations. During the meeting, TWM collected emerging concerns from stakeholders, including communities and NPO expectations to continue promoting AI initiatives in local communities, recommendations from competent authorities to pay attention to offshore wind and large-scale hydropower developments, and suggestions from sustainability rating agencies to focus on natural carbon sinks and biodiversity issues, as well as their adoption in the supply chain. These insights serve as an important foundation for efforts in driving economic, social, and environmental sustainability and reinforcing TWM’s sustainable development framework.
