Taiwan Mobile’s three growth engines continued to post robust operating performance in May. In the core "Telco" segment, smartphone postpaid ARPU and mobile service revenue both saw 3% YoY growth, aided by our unique bundles, while our postpaid churn rate remained low at approximately 0.5%. Home business revenue also grew 9% YoY. In the “Telco+” enterprise telecom segment, the AI data center we launched at the end of last year continued to drive revenue growth, following the onboarding of GMI Cloud, an NVIDIA Reference Platform Partner. Among the “Telco+Tech” businesses, momo's revenue increased 4% YoY, marking its third consecutive month of YoY growth. In addition, e-commerce services for brands maintained strong growth momentum, while game publishing and direct carrier billing (DCB) also delivered solid performance during the month. As for profitability, consolidated operating income rose by 21% YoY, thanks to momentum across all business segments and enhanced operational efficiency. Coupled with improving non-op performance, including higher equity-method investment income, net income jumped 51% YoY, with EPS reaching NT$0.50.

Taiwan Mobile announced May 2026 unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$16.44bn; operating income of NT$2.04bn; net income of NT$1.52bn; and EPS of NT$0.50. For the first five months of 2026, TWM reported unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$81.89bn; operating income of NT$9.97bn, an 18% YoY growth; net income of NT$7.09bn, a 24% YoY growth; and EPS of NT$2.34.

George Chang, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson, commented that Taiwan Mobile is honored to once again be recognized by Extel (formerly Institutional Investor)  in its 2026 All-Asia Executive Team survey. We were named a “Most Honored Company” for the fifth consecutive year in the Rest of Asia (ex-China) rankings, while grabbing the overall No.1 spot within the telecommunications sector. In the highly competitive Overall Asia rankings, we earned the “Most Honored Company” distinction for the fourth consecutive year and remained the only Taiwanese telecom operator to receive this honor. Furthermore, we ranked in the top 3 in all six categories: "Best CEO," "Best CFO," "Best IR Program," "Best IR Team," "Best ESG," and "Best Company Board." These achievements reflect the continued recognition by international capital markets of Taiwan Mobile’s business strategy and leadership team.
