For cable TV business, operating income grew steadily thanks to falling depreciation. The combined operating income of momo and cable TV grew by 18% YoY in March. As to telecom business, direct carrier billing saw a 28% YoY revenue growth in March aided by big data analysis. Overall, operating income for all major businesses exceeded guidance for the first quarter, as negative impact from softer mobile service revenue is mitigated by effective cost and expense control and successful business diversification.
