TWM announced September consolidated revenue of NT$9.63bn. EBITDA was NT$2.58bn with an operating income of NT$1.46bn and a net income of NT$1.08bn. EPS was NT$0.40. For the first nine months of 2018, TWM reported a consolidated revenue of NT$87.17bn, an EBITDA of NT$24.10bn, an operating income of NT$13.90bn and a net income of NT$10.55bn. EPS for the first nine months was NT$3.88, reaching 78% of its full year forecast.

Rosie Yu, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson of TWM, said that in September, an increase in handset sales revenue, spurred by the introduction of the iPhone XS, led to a 2% MoM growth in consolidated revenues. The proportion of customers subscribing to high-tariff plans also increased from last month. On a YoY basis, e-commerce continued to grow strongly, reaching 30% YoY. Meanwhile, IDC cloud services revenue as well as myVideo’s monthly active users, paying subscriber base, and related revenues all rose double digit % YoY. Mobile phone subsidies and channel commissions were also effectively reduced. Overall, under the basis of pre-IFRS 15 adoption, core EBITDA in September increased by 1.6% YoY. For the first nine months of the year, core EBITDA increased by 5.3% compared to the same period last year.
