Taiwan Mobile’s independently developed AI-powered speech transcription platform “Votext AI” received two major honors at the 2026 AI Taiwan Future Commerce Expo, winning the “Taiwan Impact AI” award and a Silver Award at the “Future Commerce Awards”. Currently serving more than 2,500 enterprise users, Votext AI has demonstrated strong commercial competitiveness after integrating Taiwan Mobile’s proprietary speech recognition model myVoca. Within two months of the model’s deployment, the number of enterprise trial users increased by 200%.

Taiwan Mobile Chief Enterprise Business Officer Shing Chu expressed appreciation for the recognition from the judging panel, saying that the awards demonstrate Taiwan Mobile’s ability to accurately address market needs while maintaining the agility and innovation capabilities of a technology startup. As enterprises move beyond adopting standalone AI tools toward AI-integrated workflows, Taiwan Mobile is enhancing Votext AI capabilities to connect meeting transcripts, automated summaries, and follow-up execution workflows, helping enterprises overcome long-standing challenges in meeting effectiveness, decision-making, and execution. The company is also continuing to deploy Votext AI in industries with stringent cyber security requirements, including finance and healthcare, helping enterprises integrate AI into their operations and accelerate the realization of AI value.

Taiwan Mobile Chief Information Officer Rock Tsai said that, leveraging its telecommunications expertise and a team of more than 800 IT and AI R&D professionals, Taiwan Mobile has continuously invested in AI research and development and transformed its internally developed AI solutions into enterprise-grade services. These include Votext AI, which supports mixed-language recognition across Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and Hakka, as well as myVoca, a multilingual speech recognition model optimized for Taiwan’s linguistic environment. Votext AI has now been adopted across various industries and expanded into applications including knowledge management, AI customer service, and enterprise workflow optimization, enabling organizations to adopt AI through a one-stop solution and accelerate digital transformation. Tsai said the company is honored to receive recognition from the judges and looks forward to collaborating with more enterprises to combine R&D capabilities and drive AI transformation across industries in Taiwan, strengthening overall competitiveness.
