Taiwan Mobile’s AI Computing Infrastructure Delivers Results, Showcasing AI Data Center with GMI Cloud at COMPUTEX

June 02,2026

Amid rapidly growing demand for AI computing, Taiwan Mobile joined its strategic partner GMI Cloud at COMPUTEX 2026 on June 2 to showcase its AI Data Center (AIDC), the latest NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platform, and the NVIDIA Vera Rubin superchip. Taiwan Mobile’s TAIDC facility in Guishan, Taoyuan, with a total power capacity of 25MW, achieved a 100% sell-out during its pre-sale phase, reflecting strong enterprise demand for advanced GPUs and AI data center infrastructure.

Taiwan Mobile Chief Enterprise Business Officer Shing Chu said that as generative AI becomes embedded across enterprise operations, organizations are no longer focused solely on choosing the right AI models, they also need access to the high-performance infrastructure required for large-scale training and inference. Taiwan Mobile’s AI strategy has entered a phase of deployment and growth, with AI and cloud service-related revenue increasing 471% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, while AIDC and computing services revenue also grew 87% year-on-year.

Chu said Taiwan Mobile leverages AIDC and GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) solutions to provide enterprises and government agencies with flexible access to high-performance computing resources, reducing the capital expenditure and barriers associated with building their own data centers. Taiwan Mobile leverages its telecommunications expertise to integrate GPU computing, high-bandwidth dedicated network connectivity, and telecom-grade cyber security, pioneering a bundled computing and dedicated connectivity service. By delivering flexible bare metal computing experiences with dedicated network connectivity, the solution balances data localization requirements with the highest standards of regulatory compliance, helping enterprises build competitive advantages in the era of large-scale AI computing.

GMI Cloud Co-founder and CEO Alex Yeh said the AI industry is evolving from a race to build more powerful models to an era of large-scale AI Factory deployment. Scalable AI infrastructure will be the foundation for driving AI innovation across enterprises and nations. “We are honored to collaborate with Taiwan Mobile to advance AI Factory development from Taiwan while jointly expanding overseas AIDC and global computing networks,” Yeh said. By combining the strengths of both companies, the partnership aims to create a world-class infrastructure platform supporting enterprise AI, sovereign AI, and next-generation AI services, enabling Taiwan to play a more significant role in the global AI ecosystem.

Since announcing its AI Factory partnership with GMI Cloud last year, Taiwan Mobile has built Taiwan’s first TAIDC facility in Guishan, Taoyuan, specifically designed for next-generation AI platforms. The facility houses approximately 7,000 NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 GPUs across 96 high-density computing racks. To meet the computing needs of enterprises of different scales, Taiwan Mobile’s AI computing services cover leading GPU platforms including H100, H200, and GB200, with B300 solutions planned for future rollout. The company plans to launch the highest-performance NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 superchip platform by mid-year, further strengthening its AI computing capabilities and helping enterprises accelerate AI adoption at scale.
