Internationally renowned financial media outlet Institutional Investor announced its 2022 Asia Executive Team rankings on June 23. Taiwan Mobile ranked as the best telecommunications company in Asia (ex-China) and was recognized as a “Most Honored Company.” Meanwhile, Taiwan Mobile President Jamie Lin was selected as the "Best CEO” and CFO Rosie Yu as the "Best CFO.”
Institutional Investor has been regarded as a leading provider of proprietary benchmark research and rankings for the investment community. In the 12th year of its Asia Executive Team survey, over 5,500 buy-side and sell-side professionals took part in the evaluation of 1,612 listed companies and 2,606 professional managers from 18 industries. 115 companies received a ranking and only 46 of those companies were granted the coveted “Most Honored Company” recognition.
Apart from being recognized as a “Most Honored Company” and ranked No.1 in the telecommunications sector in Asia (ex-China), the Company also topped the “Best CEO” and “Best CFO” rankings and placed highly in the remaining categories: “Best IR Professional,” “Best IR Program” and “Best ESG.”

Taiwan Mobile’s efforts in sustainability have been well acclaimed by multiple ESG rating agencies. In 2022, Taiwan Mobile has won the “Silver Class” in the Telecommunication Service category for the 4th time by S&P Global ESG. Ranked as the top level DJSI World indices in the Telecommunication Service category by the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for a 5th consecutive years and was honored as the world's best telecommunication company. In the meantime, Taiwan Mobile is also regarded as a “leadership certified by the CDP’s rating.
In 2022, the company was continuously selected as a constituent into the “FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index," the first index in Taiwan designed to reflect the performance of Taiwanese companies with leading corporate responsibility practices, for being a trailblazer in incorporating its ESG and financial performance. In addition, Taiwan Mobile has also been ranked in the top 5% in a corporate governance evaluation by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Market for an 8th consecutive years.
