Initial offering focuses on travel insurance, targeting only Taiwan Mobile users who can complete online insurance applications in as fast as 3 minutes, thanks to the company's AI-based big data. .
Individuals planning to travel abroad can use the Taiwan Mobile Customer Service App to handle their international roaming, travel insurance, internet communications
and other needs all at once.
Vicent Wu, Vice General Manager of Taiwan Mobile's Telecommunications Finance Division, emphasized that Taiwan Mobile is resolved to create an across-the-board telecommunications finance ecosystem centering around its customer centricity policy.
Apart from travel insurance, " OP Insurance " will also introduce car insurance, personal accident insurance, life insurance, and other insurance products and services to continuously expand its insurance services.
Taiwan Mobile users can simply access the dedicated page through the Taiwan Mobile Customer Service App or a dedicated SMS link to log in, using their authorized Taiwan Mobile membership account, which helps them bypass the complex data registration process.
The platform also provides trial calculation services, where users can enter their departing country, travel duration, and desired coverage amount to easily choose the most suitable insurance plan. The interface is intuitive, enabling users to quickly complete an online insurance application within 3 minutes.
