According to Lee, League of Legends: Wild Rift will enter Open Beta in December, and all players are welcome to come and try it out, using just their thumbs to activate abilities and ultimates!

Riot Games stated that League of Legends: Wild Rift is not merely porting League of Legends to the mobile platform, it is a game with brand-new models, animations, system, and other surprises while keeping the core gaming mechanics of League of Legend.

In order to allow players to have perfect control on their mobile phones, the game adopts an intuitive dual joystick design. As the match requires speed and accuracy, the virtual joystick can be activated by the fingers to have smooth and accurate control. At the same time, for league battles, the team also introduced a 5v5 map that is more suitable for mobile battles and allows players to easily invite friends to practice together through mobile phones.
