Taiwan Mobile announced March 2020 unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$10.50bn, operating income of NT$1.42bn, net income of NT$1.05bn, and EPS of NT$0.37. For the first quarter of 2020, TWM reported unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$31.85bn, operating income of NT$4.48bn, net profit of NT$3.31bn and EPS of NT$1.18.

Rosie Yu, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson, commented that the YoY growth in consolidated revenue in March was underpinned by the 41% YoY surge in momo’s e-commerce revenue, while telecom business continued to see healthy momentum in cloud, IoT and data services, along with sequential increase in the take-up of our “Double Play” bundle. As for profitability, the YoY growth in consolidated operating income further expanded to 6%, with all businesses posting YoY growth in the first quarter of 2020, marking the third consecutive quarter of YoY growth in both consolidated revenue and operating income. 1Q20 consolidated net income reached 30% of Company’s FY20 guidance.
