Taiwan Mobile announced June 2019 unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$9.90bn, operating income of NT$1.41bn, net profit of NT$1.06bn, and EPS of NT$0.38. For the first half of the year, TWM reported unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$59.49bn, operating income of NT$8.55bn, net profit of NT$6.28bn and EPS of NT$2.29.

Rosie Yu, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson, commented that momo’s e-commerce revenue soared by 38% YoY, aided by June 18 shopping gala. Coupled with stabilizing telecom revenue, where growth momentum continues in ICT and IDC services, TWM’s consolidated revenue grew by 10% YoY. As for profitability, telecom operating income was stable while cable TV operating profit continued to grow. 1H19 operating income for all major businesses were within management expectations and consolidated net profit reached 106% of 1H19 guidance.
