TWM announced July consolidated revenue of NT$9.22bn. EBITDA was NT$2.53bn with an operating income of NT$1.40bn and a net income of NT$1.08bn. EPS was NT$0.40. For the first seven months of 2018, TWM reported a consolidated revenue of NT$68.06bn, an EBITDA of NT$19.04bn, an operating income of NT$11.08bn and a net income of NT$8.36bn. EPS for the first seven months was NT$3.07, reaching 61% of its full year forecast.

Rosie Yu, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson of TWM, stated that, on a pre-IFRS 15 basis, core business EBITDA remained flattish YoY in July, and, for the first seven months, posted a growth of 7.4% YoY. The stable core EBITDA in July was mainly attributable to savings in both handset subsidies and channel commission. However, lower percentage of handset bundle plans sold and weaker demand for high-end handset bundles caused both sales revenue and EPS to decrease YoY under the basis of IFRS 15. Looking ahead, the company will continue to explore new business models in OTT services and strengthen its enterprise businesses, such as cloud, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things services, to increase growth momentum.
